Anyone have any good projects going on? Now that our season is over its time to get back in the shop.

I enjoy spending some time with my daughter in the shop on Saturday's. She's working on her next project, an African Pygmy Goose.




I'm Working on Geese too, and some ducks.




And a pile of wood waiting to be made into box calls.


 
We are working on my boys pinewood derby car. It is out first year at it and trying to keep it simple. Pictures to follow when it is done.

I miss the pinewood derby days. Lots of fun. My sons first year car ended up being our best.... Just dumb luck I guess . The more I learned the slower they got. Looking forward to the pics!

My fastest PWD car (Dad division) was when I took it out of the box, touched up the "axles" a little and then just put the wheels on the block of wood. No shaping, no painting, nothin. Made sure it weighed right at the limit.
 
Good looking bunch of birds Jode. You are doing better than I with the kids. Can't get either of mine to catch the bug.

I've got a bunch of different species on the bench, but these Blair style bluebills are ready for paint...

My daughter eats this duck stuff up. My son not so much. But he loves football and turkey hunting so it's all good.
 
Is that really the first black duck you've done??? Looks great to me!

Working on a teal ,donation for our 5 stand league shoot at NorthForest club in Lockport NY. Their sure are some nice birds starting this month again! Love the picture if your daughter Jodie , Awsome!

Geoff, Larry, Jode, and everyone else....great posts!! I love your shop space, Jode, especially that wood stove.

You guys motiviate me. I cut out some silhouettes of a goose and swan, which i will paint up and allow to weather on the fence this year, then tie a red bow around their necks and use them for Christmas ornaments on the house. These will be gifted to my sisters.

Dennis Tell Debbi the Swan cloth is amazing. Love to soft subtle shadows.
