Lee Harker's Passing

This site is so much like a family. Like many I never met him in person, but consider him to be a part of this family. I always think that there will be tomorrow and that we will get that chance to share the outdoors with are friends. Lee I always thought that someday are paths would cross on the water. Hunting together over long lines for divers on some big lake. With tears in my eyes I can not believe it will not be. Only if there was one more day! You will be missed terrible by me.

Beautiful prayer. Heaven will be a better place as Lee has gone to "that undiscovered country from whose borne no traveler returns" My prayers are with his family and friends which means us too.

Feel like I've been gut shot,
Harry

Thanks bballard for the prayer! It was a great tribute to a good man. Like many of you I never met Lee in person, but I felt like we were friends. Lee, you will be missed. Shawn

Stunned! His was definitely advice you could trust. I will miss those pothead pics and his wit.

Trip.

There's nothing I can really say.
I only knew Lee in passing, but his infectious smile and bright outlook on life was and is lasting. I'm proud to have called him a friend.

God speed, Lee.

You are missed.

Shocked to hear this news, and sad to see him go. My prayers to the Harker family during these times.

God Bless Lee.

I'm at a loss for words. Nothing I can say would do justice to the great man that Lee was, we have definitely lost one of the "Good Guys".

I feel blessed to have shared so much correspondence with him over the years. Lee will always be with us in spirit on this site and will be sorely missed. He was always willing to share his wealth of knowledge with anyone that asked, and always knew how to inject some humor into the conversation at just the right time.

My thoughts and prayers are with Lee's family in this challenging time. If there is anything I can ever do, just ask.

Godspeed Mr. Harker.

Wow, what a shock.
I never met Lee in person but he has been a fixture in the online community I call home here at the DHBP for as long as I can remember.
His insights, stories and humor will be greatly missed by all of us.
