Made the bill out of padauk wood, it's left natural just a varnish on it. Keel is figured bubinga wood.
Tried to dress them up.

I just do it my way, I don't follow the steps in the books.
But you still knew it was a mallard even without a white tail.
I'm just having fun doing it.
