We use lots of coots around our pintails when we hunt our rice fields. We keep then seperate from the main spread and give them lots of landing room.

Ive had an older MF 35 diesel w/ power steering for the last few years and love it. It will handle a small disk, 6ft bush hog, harrow and still fit on asmaller trailer. Great tractor.

Almost all of the mud boat company use McClain because they are the least expensive. If you search the mud motor sites you'll see all the complaints. Lots of boat dealers use McClain to keep the price down. I pull my boat from MN to LA fishing catfish tournaments and the last thing I want to...

Stsy away from McClain trailers. Very cheaply built and lots of duckhunters have had issues with them.

My biggest question is how is it going to perform with alot of weight a boat? Decoys, guns, dogs, etc...? Don't forget the fat guy in waders too.

I'm looking at an 18ft v-bottom but it sits pretty low with 115 optimax. I run some shallow water and fish alot out of the back of the boat. Could the pods be at an angle with the bottom? Would they effect the the performance of the the v-bottom. Thanks
