    Sick of me yet????

Actually Brian, I'm glad to see them. All of these great photos get turned into reference pics for carved birds, so I am glad to see so many "thorn" down. Much easier to carve gunning birds this way. Thanks

Part 2- Sea Class 22 ft. Simmons Sea Skiff- images of the building process

If anyone is REALLY interested, Woodenboat did a series of acticles on an 18' Simmons about 4 years ago. Ellis Rowe was the author if I remember correctly. While the 18 is smaller and the sides are not nearly as high, the build procedure is similar. I think the plans are still available...

    Rifle accuracy questions

You say the first two shots are about 1/2" and the third is 1"+? Someone else can probably answer this better than I, but is the barrell heating and "throwing" the third shot? Is the 3rd shot consistently the flyer? P.S. I just wish I could shoot with than accuracy. I am of no help for that.

    LONG LINE CLIPS

http://www.newenglandmarine.com/ and was pretty sure Wasson did too. At least thats where he told me to go. It's in NH but just barely. I wouldn't be too quick to throw out the lighter guage wire clips, I have had some that took both hands to open when it was cold. Those I got rid of.

    Boats to consider

Hey Jeff, As a fellow Piner I looked outside the box and ended up here http://www.instantboats.com/downeastdories/showdory.php?dory=seahawk If you'll notice its 20hp Max and fairly easy to row as well. I can tell you it will get you to 15 knots with 7.5 hp. As far as a blind I couldnt...

    Damascus VS Twist Barrels

Tom, First I would shoot it only if it was stamped for nitro-proof. Next I wouldn't shoot it unless I had a VERY qualified gunsmith who is familiar with that type of gun check it out. Calipers are ok for some uses but what you really want it a dial bore micrometer for the inside I.D. in...

How do I get my decoy back?

Go to Biddeford and buy one of Steve Brettell's Buffies. Give it to her as an early Christmas Present, take the cork one out hunting. She wont complain, trust me.

My try at Derek's decoy idea.

Nice Mike, and thanks for posting the pics. I have done some Eider that are similar, but cut out the middle of the vertical board. I then put the foam in through a hole in the bottom board, allowing to fill with only one hole. Then I can take the cut out portion, weight it, and attach it...

Still have not seen any birds flying south in NH

Boys, Give a try on the Bellamy River, up beyond the first bridge. Just about opposite St Thomas High School. I have been hunting pheasant in the fields there and it seems the ducks like to fly the river and into the estuary areas leading into it. Best luck
