Hey Cody Welcome! I didn't know that ducks traveled through states with no water! Just kidden, I just recently started traveling out west. I'll be moving out there within the year!

I really love this part of the hunt! I really enjoy all the preparation and being on the marsh or lake and shooting ducks, but being able to actually eat, enjoy and share with others what we can bring home and reminiscing (is that a real word?) is like the icing on the cake!

Anyone know if they are starting to push down through Minnesota yet? (only 2 week-ends left!) I keep looking at the migration reports on the DU site, but nobody seems to be posting anything at all!

Hey all you carvers, Just a quick question about cutting out the rough shape from a block of wood or cork. What do you use to cut out the rough shape? My books say to use a band saw, but I haven't seen too many band saws that will fit a n eight inch piece of wood for cutting out the side view...
