Those flying lawn darts can get pretty thick on the susquehenna river where I hunt.. Later in the year the better... We do not even shoot at them unless we have a kid along that has not shot his gun in a while.. You have to knock them down good on the first shot or you will be chasin them things...

I am getting ready to head down to Cardwell Missouri, to hunt the St. Francis River.... We are supposed to start hunting the 11th-15th... Whats my chances??? Will the river be froze up like an icecube?? Or with it being moving water will it stay open.. Anybody in the area have any input...
