Mike another thumbs up for Tritronics here. I have a multi-dog Pro 500, with the tube transmitter. I bought a holster for it from Lion Country Supply and am extremely happy with the entire setup. 1 mile range up to 3 dogs can be controlled, very easy unit to use. Doug

I feed both of my Drahts (4yr old and 4 mos old) Pro Plan Performance year round. Coats are awesome, dogs love it and stools are small and solid! There isn't a dog bowl with a finish on it in my house! Doug

I's suggest the 70-200 L with IS in 2.8 and get a 1.4 teleconverter also. You'll then have the same range as the 100-400, still have autofocus with the TC on it, and it your need inside shooting the 2.8 will suit you exceptionally well.
