Picked up a Jap 12 magnum as well as a Jap magnum 20 in the last two years. My favorite guns to shoot. My buddy is shooting the new A5 and he likes it. I just like the weight of it compared to the older guns. However I'll keep shooting a piece of history not a wanna be. Just my .02

I leave all of my decoys attached to the main line. I'm running 1/4" solid braid nylon for the main line. I got it from Decoy Rigs of Indiana. It's stiff and I have no tangles as compared to 120 tarred nylon I use to run. I store everything in collasable leaf bags from Home Depot. Mark

I like the hunter green. This is more like OD green. The marsh grass is more of a mustard yellow/green. I have both colors on two seperate boats and much prefer the hunter green. That's just my .02. Choice is up to you though. Mark

I also have the Attwood LED's I got them from WalMart for $27. Stainless steel cover that I removed and painted flat black. I got them on three boats and love them. Nice to know when you flick the switch that they come on.

You can always measure the diameter of output shaft of the motor and diameter of the pop shaft and go to the farm store as mentioned . I've bought parts directly from Beavertail when I built my homemade mud motor.
